Water, Garbage and Sewer  – Farmington City Public Works

For Water– In general, the city will ask you to come in to sign up and will not just let you call. They may also ask for address verification- you can use your HUD statement from closing to have your name and address associated with your new home. Call first to find out what they need. Farmington has a form for you to fill out and bring in to the office. 

To sign up for City utilities, please print out the following application form and drop it off to the City Offices at 160 S. Main.  Or you may fax your application to 801–451-2747. U.S. Post Office: Remember to contact your local post office to submit a forwarding address!

Blue Stakes: If you have any new projects that involve digging—Remember to call Blue Stakes. 1-800-662-4111

Cable and Internet Service:  Remember to contact any Internet or Cable Service Providers too!
